Olga Springer

Olga Springer, born in 1983, studied English, comparative literature and ethnography at the University of Tübingen from 2002-08, since 2003 supported by a scholarship of the German National Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). In 2004/05, she spent two terms at Mount Allison University, Canada, studying English, French and sociology.

She wrote her Master's thesis on "Scenes of Crime in Ngaio Marsh's Novels". In April 2008, she has begun working on her doctoral thesis on the topic of ambiguity in Charlotte Brontë's texts. Her research interests include the notion of the world as stage and Victorian literature.
